The Milwaukee Brewers will look to win their second consecutive game against the Chicago Cubs after their 9-5 victory last night.

Mark Rogers received his first Major League win after the Brewers exploded in the fifth inning with eight runs to give their starter the lead before he was taken out of the game. Rogers did not have the greatest performance but the fact that he only surrendered three earned runs gave Milwaukee’s sluggers a legitimate chance to come back and get him the win.

Starter Marco Estrada will look to do the same tonight as he is still searching for his first win of the season. Estrada has appeared in 21 games, including 15 starts, this year and has been in line for the victory several times before the bullpen blew the save.

The following is the Brewers lineup against the Cubs for Tuesday night:

Right Field: Norichika Aoki
Second Base: Rickie Weeks
Left Field: Ryan Braun
Third Base: Aramis Ramirez
First Base: Corey Hart
Catcher: Jonathan Lucroy
Center Field: Carlos Gomez
Shortstop: Jean Segura
Pitcher: Marco Estrada

Norichika Aoki led the team with three hits last night while catcher Jonathan Lucroy hit two home runs and knocked in four RBI. In fact, every starter had at least one hit with the exception of Rogers who went 0-for-1.

The Brewers will be looking to have similar success tonight when they face Chris Rusin, who will be making his Major League debut. Rusin posted a record of 8-8 at Class AAA Iowa with a 4.59 earned run average, 87 strikeouts, and has surrendered 16 home runs in 24 games this season. However, he has only allowed four earned runs in his last 18 2/3 innings pitched over a span of three games.

It will be interesting to see how Rusin fares against a good home run hitting team such as Milwaukee in a ball park that favors the long ball.
