Round 1 (32): TE Dwayne Allen, Clemson

Dwayne Allen is wide regarded as the best tight end in the draft, and the Giants became desperate for the position after the Super Bowl.

Top tight end Jake Ballard and third string Travis Beckum both tore their ACLs in the game, meaning they will be out for some of the 2012 season.

Even then, they will not be 100 percent until 2013.

Dwayne Allen is a complete tight end who is a monster in the red zone. He finished his senior season with 50 catches for 598 yards and eight touchdowns.

He is an immediate upgrade over anyone the Giants have, injured or otherwise.
